Economy Minister Pavol Rusko said that KIA must submit a request for the incentives and define exactly what they would use the money for. The cabinet would then deal with the request.

With KIA'S additional investment the production capacity at its new plant near Žilina will rise to 300,000 vehicles per year from the originally planned 200,000.
