Banská Bystrica Regional Police spokesperson Jana Vrbická refused to give any further details, citing the ongoing investigation. However, local people reportedly opined that competition between two companies offering local telecommunications services might have been behind the attack. Police do not know who planted the bomb, which was packed with nails to increase its destructive capacity.
