TWO BITTERLY divided opposition parties will likely run together on the ticket of the Slovak National Party for September elections to ensure representation in parliament, officials with both parties have said.
Slovakia requires parties to score over five per cent in elections to get seats in the legislature, but recent polls have put the Slovak National Party (SNS) and Real Slovak National Party (PSNS) below that margin. The latter split off from the former last year after a leadership squabble.
