The Specialised Criminal Court in Pezinok has a new chairman: Oldřich Kozlík, who has been appointed following a competitive selection process. Kozlík had previously been serving as the court’s acting chairman; he took up the post permanently on June 11, Justice Ministry spokesman Michal Jurči said, according to the SITA newswire.
In a separate judicial appointment, Justice Minister Viera Petríková appointed Slavomír Cimerman to the post of chairman of the district court in Veľký Krtíš. He will fill the post for a third term; the minister was left with no choice but to appoint him as he was the only person to apply for the position.
