The state-run forestry company Lesy SR interim general director Ján Beňa has submitted his ideas on how the company should operate to Agriculture Minister Stanislav Becík on July 14, Becík told TASR on Saturday.
"I appointed the interim director in accordance with my conscience," said the Minister, adding he made his decision after talks with representatives from forestry branch organisations, management and trade unionists. Beňa was appointed on July 10, replacing former director Jozef Mindaš, who - along with Lesy SR management - was accused of managing the state-run company in an inefficient and non-transparent manner.
Beňa, who had been a member of Lesy SR's supervisory board, dismissed the company's management on Friday. TASR
