THE INSURER Aegon will now also offer services and products of other insurers and banks via its new Aegon Partner project.
“Aegon Partner is a response to changes the market is going through,” Gabriel Ondik, managing director of the new network said, as cited in the press release. “Financial services have been dynamically changing and developing in Slovakia. Also our company has an ambition to satisfy increasingly demanding requirements of our clients. Moreover, the expected regulation would significantly affect the financial market in a short period of time.”
Ondik assumes that it would have a significant impact on small and middle-sized broker companies, especially the system of work and broker’s commissions which they were used to for a long period of time.
The aim of the network is that the client gets, via the independent broker, an advantageous but especially complex offer. Products include life and non-life insurance policies, mortgages and loans, housing construction savings and also banking investments.
Aegon Slovensko belongs to the Aegon concern headquartered in the Netherlands, one of the biggest financial groups in the world operating in the insurance sector. Aegon entered Slovakia in 2003 and currently it takes care of the financial future of over 250,000 clients within life insurance and old-age pension saving. Thousands of others have bought its housing insurance products.
