New industrial orders up by 4.1 percent year-on-year in October

The annual growth of new orders in industry decreased in October as in August and September new orders rose by 11 percent year-on-year and in October it was only 4.1 percent, an amount of €3.424 billion, the SITA newswire reported on December 12.

The total volume of new orders registered during the first ten months of 2011 reached €31.126 billion. Compared to the same period in 2010 the volume of new industrial orders was up by 10.3 percent.
