Approximately 1,000 new jobs will be created in the village of Hrádok, in the Nové Mesto nad Vahom district as the Bratislava-based firm Villian Invest plans to build an industrial park with an area of 192,597 square meters worth €39.5 million, the SITA newswire reported on February 21.
According to investment plans the company submitted for an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), the construction of the park should start in June and its completion is planned two years later.
The investor wants to build seven production and assembly halls and storage and office space. The park should concentrate on light mechanical engineering and electro-technical production and logistics. The project includes 450 parking spaces and spaces for 10 trucks. New road infrastructure is to be built which will bypass the village of Hrádok itself.
