Korean investor Woo One has begun production of plastic covers for computer monitors at a factory in central Slovakia’s Surany, with an eventual investment of Sk400 million ($9.5 million) and employing 300-500 people.
The firm chose Slovakia because of low labour costs and the proximity of its factory site to Samsung, which has an electronics factory in nearby Galanta.
