New investors to arrive in Kechnec industrial park

TWO NEW investors will set up shop in eastern Slovakia’s Kechnec industrial park near Košice, creating 4,500 new jobs by October 2005, the economic daily Hospodárske noviny wrote.

Kechnec Mayor Jozef Konkoly said that the investors come from western Europe and are active in the light industry sector.

One of the investors will create 3,000 jobs and the second will open 1,500 jobs.

The names of the firms will be probably published by the end of September, said Konkoly.
