Bratislava’s M. R. Štefánik Airport will start handling all regular and unscheduled flights through its recently completed new terminal from Monday, June 28.
Airport spokeswoman Dana Madunická said that the decision to transfer flights from the old facility, which has now served for 40 years, came following a successful trial operation at the new terminal. The original start date for full service at the new terminal had been July 1. As of the beginning of next week, all commercial operations will be relocated to the new building from the old terminal, Madunická told the SITA newswire on June 22.
