NGOs get foreign election money

The Open Society Fund, a US-led non-government group, has approved Sk13.6 million ($300,000) in funding for pre-election projects for Slovak NGOs designed to get out the vote and make politics more transparent to the electorate.

Slovak NGOs are scheduled to receive about Sk100 million in total funding before the September 20-21 ballot.
