Transport Minister Pavol Prokopovič scrapped a new headquarters project for the state railways firm, saying “it doesn’t make sense for the railways to be building such a thing when we’re fighting for every crown.”
The building was to have cost the heavily indebted and loss-making railways firm over Sk500 million ($12 million).
