Norwegian prime minister to visit Slovakia

Next week, the Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg will visit Slovakia. Her trip has been approved by the government, the SITA newswire wrote on August 17.

Solberg will arrive on August 23, at the invitation of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. The visit is connected with Slovakia’s presidency of the Council of the European Union. During her visit, she will be received by Fico to hold bilateral talks.

Solberg will also hold talks with other local constitutional officials. The main issue of the talks will be the deepening of bilateral relations and especially support for economic cooperation, including the current state of using the financial mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, SITA wrote.
