Not all SE bidders will proceed

The advisor on the privatisation of a minority stake in energy utility Slovenské Elektrárne has said that not all eight parties who submitted preliminary bids in late September will be able to carry out due diligence, and that the optimum number would be four or five bidders.

The utility is the last major state asset that remains to be privatised following a wave of sales under the 1998-2002 Mikuláš Dzurinda administration.
