For visitors, there were competitions (with a six-month supply of dog food as a prize), consultations with a veterinarian and an auction. A total of 10 shelters from Bratislava, as well as Banská Štiavnica, Sereď, Zlaté Moravce and Revúca arrived to present their animals. The Revúca Shelter succeeded in finalising three adoptions.

On the same day, the Alliance of Associations for Animal Protection, an animal protection organisation, met to discuss the issue of microchip implants in pets. The chair of the Alliance’s managing board and Bratislava Old Town Mayor Tatiana Rosová praised the practice, and also expressed appreciation for veterinarians who have adapted their pricing to meet the financial situation of dog owners. Bratislava’s Old Town borough co-organises the event, together with the Horský Park Foundation, dog food suppliers and others.
