The Žurnál weekly reported that someone set fire to two cars used by Stanislav Szabo, the Defence Ministry official in charge of armament, the SITA newswire wrote.
The incident occurred about two weeks ago at night in front of Szabo's house. Police are not providing further details. Szabo said he cannot explain the fires, since he never received a threat.
The destroyed Mercedes belonged to the DMD Trade company. Szabo represents the Defence Ministry on the company's supervisory board. SITA
