The National Highway Company (NDS) will open one carriageway of a newly built section of the D1 highway between Jablonov and Studenec in Prešov Region on Friday, December 14, at 11:00.
The announcement means that the stretch will be partially opened slightly earlier than planned. NDS spokesman Marcel Jánošík informed the SITA newswire that construction had taken 24 months so far and the contractual price was €34,217,507 without VAT, financed from the state budget. The stretch is 5.2 kilometres long and includes four bridges.
