One fourth of Slovaks agree with military missions abroad

Twenty-five percent of Slovaks agree with the Slovak military’s participation in military missions abroad, while 41.1 percent disagree. This information was published in a poll carried out by TNS SK in January and February 2007 on a sample of 1,022 people over 15 years of age.

Almost 28 percent of respondents did not have an opinion on the issue and six percent failed to respond.

According to the survey, the participation in the missions is supported mostly by people with a university education, while people over 50 are mostly against it, along with the citizens of small towns and towns of over 100,000 people.
