SLOVAKIA's economic ministers recommended a series of measures to improve the business environment in the country, including a so called one-stop-office where start up businesspeople could organize all necessary details for starting their business.
The business community considers such contact points to be a necessity.
"It is the only way how entering business can be simplified," Tibor Gregor from Klub 500, an association of employers with over 500 employees, told the Hospodárske noviny daily.
Currently, new businesspeople must register with a series of offices to obtain a business licence. Many people do not even know which offices they have to go to when starting a new business.
The Economy Ministry should prepare the exact system of how the new one-stop-offices should operate.
