THE PRESIDENTIAL Palace opened its gates to the public on June 9. Visitors were given an inside view of its offices and insight into the activities of President Ivan Gašparovič.
The Open House Day was held to celebrate the second anniversary of Gašparovič's becoming president on June 15, 2004.
Gašparovič and his wife invited visitors to tour the palace, which was the summer home of Count Grassalkovich in the 18th century.
