The opposition intends to file a motion at the Constitutional Court to determine whether the amendment to the university law is in line with the Slovak constitution, KDH Party MP Martin Fronc said on July 27.
The amendment, which introduces fees for part-time students, was signed by President Ivan Gašparovič that day.
Fronc, the former education minister, believes that MPs of all opposition parties will sign the motion. The Hungarian Coalition Party (SMK) indicated their support in discussions, he said.
The opposition will decide what to contest after a legal analysis, he said.
