The opposition Slovak Democratic and Christian Union (SDKU) party will propose reducing taxes and levies.
SDKU leader Mikuláš Dzurinda’s proposal received the support of the opposition Christian Democratic Movement and Hungarian Coalition Party on March 16. Dzurinda did not specify how much they want to cut taxes and levies, but said they would like to see lower tariffs effective from January 1, 2008.
