The salaries of constitutional representatives will not grow in 2013 but will remain at this year's level, 140 MPs agreed on Wednesday, November 28, in fast-tracked legislative proceedings.
For the first time, the freeze will affect judges as well, the TASR newswire wrote. Apart from judges, it also relates to MPs, ministers, the chair and vice-chair of the Supreme Audit Office (NKÚ), the general prosecutor, regional government presidents and assembly members, the ombudsman and municipal councillors. The same principle applies to lump sums, MPs' assistants and expenditures provided to run offices.
