Parliamentary Chair Andrej Danko, who is also head of Slovak National Party (SNS), will return to work on May 16 if everything goes according to plan, the TASR newswire reported.
Danko underwent stomach surgery on April 25 therefore Parliamentary vice-chair Béla Bugár of Most-Híd stood in for him during his absence from the House. Danko was released from the National Oncology Institute (NOU) in Bratislava on May 2.

He did not plan to remain on sick leave for long. Danko has a busy schedule waiting when he returns to work. New members of the State Commission for Elections and Supervision of Political Parties’ Financing are due to swear an oath before him on May 16. May’s session of parliament will begin on May 17.
