The Parliamentary Defense and Security Committee voted unanimously on April 29 to accept the Prosecutor General Office's report on its activity for 2007, which was occasionally critical of the government, the TASR newswire wrote.
"I think that the report, where necessary, is critical even of the government. The document, for example, makes note of the less-than-rosy cooperation between Justice Minister Štefan Harabin and Prosecutor General Dobroslav Trnka," said opposition SMK MP Béla Bugár after the committee's discussions.
Turning to the ongoing investigation into asset-stripping involving the Branisko Tunnel project under previous governments, Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák told Parliament that he would reveal the results only after another stage of the probe is concluded. TASR
