"[The driver] immediately called the dispatching centre, and four police patrols and dispatchers soon arrived on the scene," said Staneková, adding that the two armed men, aged around 30, had by then run off. Neither the female driver nor the other passengers on the tram were hurt in the incident, which occurred shortly before 5:00. The driver refused to be substituted, telling dispatchers that she was okay. Police were reported to be searching for the two men.
