THE AVERAGE Slovak old-age pension will be increased by Sk620 to a monthly Sk7,670 (€196.5) and disability pensions by Sk500 to Sk6,170 (€157) as of July 1, said the country's pensions' provider, Sociálna poisťovňa (SP).
Indexed to inflation and wages, pensions will be valorized by 8.85 percent, up from the originally planned 8.2 percent due to last year's dynamic wage growth, the TASR news agency wrote.
This will increase the valorization cost by Sk300 million, to a total of Sk4.2 billion (€110 million).
