Penta currently controls altogether eight regional hospitals in eastern Slovakia through its Svet Zdravia company.

“Our aim is to build the network of regional hospitals which will bring available and better quality health care,” said partner of Penta Eduard Maták, as quoted by SITA. “The three new hospitals will also allow us to start fulfilling this intention in the central-Slovak region.”

The three hospitals provide health care to more than 160,000 people living in the area, and employ 1,106 people. Their revenues in 2012 stood at €25.5 million, and they finished the year in black numbers.
