Penta sells ZSNP Foundry to Spanish Fagor Ederlan

SLOVAK PRIVATE equity group Penta Investments has sold its 100 percent stake in ZSNP Foundry of Central Slovakia's Žiar nad Hronom to the Spanish Fagor Ederlan Taldea company.

Penta is the majority owner of the aluminium maker ZSNP, the parent company of ZSNP Foundry.

According to Penta representatives, Fagor Ederlan intends to invest €20 million (Sk754 million) in the foundry in the next two years, and to achieve a turnover of €22 million (Sk830 million) in 2008.

ZSNP Foundry specializes in the production and processing of aluminium parts for the automotive industry. Its main clients include Volkswagen and the Czech Škoda. It has 170 employees.
