THE PSA Peugeot Citroën plant in Trnava has already started manufacturing car parts for the company’s production facilities in France. However, the official production launch for the Trnava plant is not scheduled until January 2006, the daily Pravda wrote.
The Trnava plant is now working in two shifts, said Alain Baldeyrou, the head of the Trnava plant.
Last year the company hired more than 500 people, largely for technical and engineering jobs. This year another 725 people will be hired. The Trnava plant expects to employ a total of 3,500 people.
