His second hobby is travelling and in addition to memories, he brings home from his adventure-filled travels replicas of historical items that he later adapts, using various techniques, to a true-to-reality state. Hertlík started building his unconventional collection in 2002.

At the museum in Košice he is exhibiting 340 items such as various kinds of sculptures, busts of emperors, generals, and gods as well as paintings and other works of art evoking the atmosphere of ancient Egypt. The exhibition runs until September 23.
