Plane crash at Ražňany airport claims two lives

The crash of an ultra-light sport plane near the airport in Ražňany on the evening of July 15 claimed two victims. A 64-year-old pilot from Veľký Šariš died immediately after the single-engine Viper SD aircraft crashed at about 19:00 between the Torysa River and the airport at Ražňany. The second pilot, 34 years old, died the next day in a Prešov hospital, the SITA newswire wrote. Both the local police and the aviation inspection authority have been investigating the deadly accident. SITA
