PM Mikuláš Dzurinda sees 2003 as a good year from the point of view of the fulfillment of the cabinet program.
The Slovak daily SME wrote on December 29 that, according to Dzurinda, the year’s work has already begun to bring positive results in the form of the fast growth of the Slovak economy, more new jobs, and a greater interest among foreign investors in putting their money into the central European country.
In terms of the cooperation inside the ruling coalition, however, Dzurinda admitted that a smooth operation of the cabinet parties had “not quite been managed”.
