PM Peter Pellegrini failed to persuade Health Minister Andrea Kalavská to change her mind about her resignation.

“I asked her to reconsider her decision and continue serving Slovak patients and health care,” Pellegrini (Smer) said on December 5, as quoted by the TASR newswire. He added that it would be the best decision she could make.
