CME will control 34 percent directly and 46 percent indirectly in Markíza-Slovakia through the ARJ company.

A 30-day windown of time to apply for renewal of Markíza's broadcast licence also started that day.

Markíza's current licence is valid until to September 14, 2007. It is applying for a 12-year extension from the Broadcast and Retransmission Council.
