THE MOST SOUGHT-after faculty for the academic year 2004-2005 in Slovakia is the Police Force Academy in Bratislava, the Slovak Governance Institute (SGI) has found.
According to the SGI, which based its study on data from the Education Sector Information and Prognosis Institute, the police academy has received about 26 applications for every available place.
The second most attractive faculty is the Faculty of Law at Bratislava's Comenius University with around 11 applications per vacancy, followed by the Faculty of Law at Banská Bystrica's Matej Bel University with a rate of over 9 applications per berth, the SITA news agency wrote.
