The police's findings will be used as evidence in the ongoing investigation into alleged funding fraud, Silvia Miháliková, spokeswoman at the Bratislava regional police headquarters told TASR news agency.

The investigation of the SDKÚ's financing was launched in response to a complaint in April brought by the Fair-Play Alliance, a local anti-corruption NGO.

It alleged that several people listed as donors to the SDKÚ had never in fact given any money to the party.
