THE POLICE have raided the offices of Supreme Court judge Milan Lipovský, reports the Narodná Obroda daily.
The judge has been accused by 38 year-old Ladislav Ríz of accepting a Sk2 million (€51,000) crown bribe. The police raid was a search for evidence relating to the alleged bribe.
The bribe, allegedly paid in May 2003, is supposed to have been in return for letting Miloš Kaštan out of prison.
Kaštan was previously the right-hand man of the alleged boss of the Slovak underworld, Mikuláš Černák, who is currently serving a prison sentence.
