The Slovak crashed her car after getting a flat tire but survived. "It was only the subsequent event that proved fatal for the woman," said Gandel as quoted by the TASR newswire. After a police patrol arrived at the scene, the Slovak went into the police car to write down the report. "While getting out of the car, she was run over by a Polish bus that slammed into the police car as well," added Gandel.

The bus crash claimed the lives of the Slovak woman and a Serbian police officer, with four other police officers suffering injuries. The bus was carrying vacationers returning home from Bulgaria. The incident is currently under investigation.
