PosAm Bratislava, an information systems provider, signed a contract worth $220,000 for the delivery of a complete editorial system for the ONASA news agency in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The venture is PosAm's second experience with the installation of an editorial system. In 1997 the firm installed a similar system for the Slovak press agency SITA.

The editorial system, known as NewsFlow, is designed for news agencies and periodical publishers. It facilitates the distribution of articles prepared by the agencies through various media, such as the Internet, e-mail, fax or satellite, and runs on an IBM Lotus Notes platform.

PosAm's midyear sales in 1999 were 156 million Slovak crowns, for a gross profit of 10 million crowns. The company employs 110 people.
