The regional court in western Slovakia’s Trenčín has ruled that the daily paper Pravda must pay member of parliament Miroslav Kotian Sk1 million (Sk21,000) for mistakenly claiming in 1999 that he had falsified his high-school graduation certificate. The decision is final.
