Slovak President Rudolf Schuster signed bilateral agreements in Cairo with Egypt on tackling organised crime and preventing double taxation and income tax evasion, news wire TASR reported.
When commenting on the peace process in the Middle East, Schuster said that Slovakia had always taken "a correct stance" on the process and supported it through the United Nations.
"Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is known for his moderate standpoints and for not trying to solve anything through force," Schuster told media.
The Egyptian President has promised to visit to Slovakia in the near future.
However, Schuster does not agree with Egyptian parliamentary speaker Ahmed Fathi Surur, who said that Iraq is being occupied by the United States.
