Slovak Prime Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda will pay a brief official visit to the US on April 22-24. During his stay, Dzurinda will take part in a Euroatlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) session in Washington to be opened by NATO Secretary General Javier Solana.
Dzurinda is also scheduled to attend the 1999 East-West awards dinner and meet with representatives of Citibank and General Electric. At an investment conference, he will give a presentation on the situation in Slovakia. In Dzurinda's entourage will be Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Mikloš, Foreign Minister Eduard Kukan, Defense Minister Pavol Kanis and chief of the Slovak Army's General Staff Milan Čerovský.
