“On Saturday I will support with my own vote Andrej Kiska,” Procházka said at a joint press briefing with MPs Miroslav Beblavý (ex-SDKÚ) and Andrej Hrnčiar (Most-Híd).

“In the first round Procházka was my candidate, but Kiska has proved he would be a good president,” Beblavý said as quoted by the TASR newswire. “Slovakia needs hope. We are in the situation when 70 percent of people think Slovakia is heading the wrong direction. Robert Fico has shown he cannot offer new hope, and that is why we need a change.”

Hrnčiar said Slovakia needs a strong president and called on “all those who care about the fate of the country to go to vote and express their personal opinion”.

“It is important that nobody stays at home,” Hrnčiar said, as quoted by TASR, adding that he will vote for Kiska.

Hrnčiar confirmed that these three politicians have been meeting for a long time now to discuss various political issues, but they refused to talk about their future. There are now rumours that Procházka and Hrnčiar will give up their mandates and found a political party, TASR wrote.
