About 300 people gathered on Tuesday in front of the Slovak Embassy in Budapest to protest against the Slovak Parliament's resolution confirming the Beneš Decrees, the Sme daily reported on September 26.
The protest was organised by the World Union of Hungarians, and it was later joined by 14 marginal, mostly ultra-right associations.
The only significant entity among them was non-parliamentary party Jobik, which recently formed a paramilitary Hungarian Guard.
Protesters wanted to deliver a petition to employees of the Slovak Embassy but the embassy did not take it, saying it finds only the Hungarian government a partner for a discussion.
