Qoros starts selling cars in Slovakia

China-based automotive company Qoros opened its first European sales and service centre in Bratislava. The distribution will be managed by Dutch company AutoBinck, with which the Chinese company signed its first European agreement for supplying cars to the Slovak market, the SITA newswire reported on September 6.

Qoros will start selling only one type of car, which will be offered fully equipped with a price set at €20,000. After launching sales in Slovakia, the company plans to expand to other countries of central and western Europe with its complete offer of car models, SITA wrote.

The company Qoros Auto Co. Ltd. was established in 2007. It is owned by Chinese company Chery Automobile Co. and Israeli firm Israel Corporation. It resides in Changshu, China, where it has a production hall with an initial production capacity of 150,000 vehicles per year.
