Interior Minister Ladislav Pittner explaining why he thought it irrelevant that the current Head of the Interior Ministry Financial Police was during communism employed by the secret police (ŠtB). The Lustration Law, which never applied in independent Slovakia, was used in Czechoslovakia in the early 1990's to prevent former high-ranking communists and ŠtB staff from holding public office.
