A group of "young rascals who don't know what to do with their time" attacked a group of the rare mountain flowers called "Cyclamen Fatrense", said Miroslav Saniga, a researcher for the Slovak Academy of Science Research Centre in Staré Hory. Saniga said that while walking in the nearby Fatra mountains, he visited the only two-square kilometre patch in the world where the flowers grow only to discover that someone had picked them and torn them to pieces.
