Re: From little acorns do mighty oaks rise, Volume 11, Number 15, April 18 - April 24, 2005
SARIO (Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency) finds it necessary to respond to the untrue allegations by Howard M Barnett in last week's issue of The Slovak Spectator.
In SARIO there are about 10 project managers working on the realisation of investment projects. The agency also has six managers working on the implementation of regional investment projects.
Currently, we have at least 300 projects, so in practice this means that each SARIO project manager looks after around 20 investment projects.
Even if those people worked 25 hours a day they would not be able to fully serve each investor. SARIO simply must set its priorities.
The statement made by Mr Barnett that SARIO is only interested in big investors and it sends small ones away is simply not true. Some examples from the last year include Haugg Cooling Bratislava - 30 jobs, HB Logiform Trnava - 30 jobs, Hansung Electronics Nové Zámky - 25 jobs, and I could go on.
Every potential investor is more than welcome at SARIO.
